How We Wore It | Looks of Love

Hi there! This month for our How We Wore It series we decided to amp up the pinks and reds and purples to create some fabulous Valentine's Day outfit inspiration! I have a special place in my heart for Valentine's Day as it's also our wedding anniversary! This year Parker and I are celebrating 2 years! Woot woot! More on that later :)
This ^^ was the photo we used for inspiration this month. We wanted it to be a pretty generic photo that we could pull all sorts of inspiration from and how cute are those macaroons?! :) I was taught to never wear red and pink together... so I decided to defy those rules and put the two colors together using this fun rose print skirt and my red top! I loved the end result! It was so girly and fun and definitely got me in the love month spirit! Also, I'm sad you can't tell in the photo (probably because it was blindingly bright outside), but I'm wearing super bright pink lipstick as well. It was the perfect addition to the pearls and the red heels to complete this Anniversary/Valentine's Day outfit!
How fun is this cute heart overlay? hehe I couldn't not add it.

Also, sorry for the lack of photos :( We were super pressed for time! I'm planning on wearing this darling outfit on our anniversary date this weekend so we will take more photos of it then!

    1. Thanks, Dani! The red shirt is actually a peplum and I tucked it in cuz it was the only red top that I had and I was so determined to give the red and pink a try! You should join us next month!!!
