arry pottah

One day while I was down at BYU I was sitting in Parker's apartment with him and all of his roomates and a couple other guys. They were talking about books. Weird right? Not a typical guys conversation. At least not what I'm used to.. Anyway, they started talking about the Harry Potter books and I mentioned that I have never read them. They, of course, were all shocked by this confession and one of them was even so bold as to say that we couldn't be friends anymore until I have read all of them. Then Parker made me promise to read them this summer. So since my job has allowed me to fall in love with reading all over again, I have begun my quest of reading the Harry Potter series. I have read the first three in the last week or so and what can I say other than this. I AM IN LOVE WITH THESE BOOKS! I'm a fanatic already. Thank you Parker! I cannot believe I've waited this long to read them. I'm completely obsessed and if I wasn't going on a family reunion and then having Parker get here the day I come home from that I would already have started the next one but I know full well that I will get just as attached to it as I have been to the others. If I didn't have so many fun things coming up I would have made the goal to have all of them done by the 15th, when Part 2 of the Deathly Hallows premiere is.. but since I've got the reunion and Parker coming I don't think that'll happen... that's ok. I'll just see it anyway because I just cannot wait. I have never really known what all the hype about Harry Potter was until now. Ya the movies are good and everything but oh man. The books. They are genius. Ok, now I need to go get everything done that I've been neglecting while I've been reading haha If you haven't read Harry Potter, make like nike and just do it. NOW!
I'm going to be Hermione for halloween this year.

27 months? naahh try 16 days!

Holy Freakin Mother of Flippin Pearl! That's right people. Parker is coming to visit. In just 16 days I get to hear that laugh again. Happy happy joy joy. Feel free to join in my celebration by doing this dance.
(Just a warning, there is a swear right at the beginning of the video, but the rest of it is clean. I quite enjoyed it.)
I hate animals.
 Especially animals like this.
But doesn't he just look like he's jumping for joy?
I think so.
That's how I feel right now.

one year

Today is Cardston High School graduation sooooo congrats to all the lil graduates. That's right. You are LITTLE! It hit me today that for the rest of my life, the kids that are graduating are always going to seem little to me now. Crazy to think about because it has never been this way before. I was always looking up to the older generations thinking, "Oh my gosh those kids are so cool and old!" Now they just seem like these little babies that I have watched grow up! Its just so weird for me.
I miss high school. It was my prime time, ya know? I just loved every single little thing about it. Everything. But contrary to popular belief... I have moved on. Ya it was probably one of the funnest times of my life but guess what? There is still more fun to come! And more fun has already come.
This last year has consisted of all of this and more:
