When we found out we were headed to Boston for residency, we knew that we didn't want New England to be our 'forever home' as it's so far from family. So since we are planning on being here temporarily (in the grand scheme of things) we knew we wanted to create a "New England Bucket List" so we can see and do everything in the area before we move again in the distant future. I thought it would be fun to share our bucket list with you in case y'all ever find yourself out this way and need recommendations of what to do and see and where to eat!
New England Bucket List:

+ Eat some fresh crab, lobster, and/or fish & chips!
+ Walk the Freedom Trail
+ Visit Salem, MA
+ Go to the beach
+ Explore Castle Island
+ Go to the Cape Cod Chip Factory
+ Tour Fenway Park
- Whale watching
+ Shop at Primark
+ Get Italian food from Giacomo's in the North End (one of the BEST meals of my life!!!)
- Do a hike in Acadia National Park
+ Go to a Boston Red Sox game
- See Acorn Street in Beacon Hill (one of the most Instagrammed spots in America haha)
+ Day trip to Martha's Vineyard
- Tour the National Basketball Hall of Fame
- Visit Nantucket
+ Tour the mansions in Newport, RI (I can't wait to go when they decorate for the holidays!!)
+ Shop in Portsmouth, NH
- Tour the Boston Public Library
+ Visit Concord & Lexington for a historical tour (I've done this but Parker hasn't)
- Go to Cape Cod
+/- Explore the Emerald Necklace (we've done this a bit but we want to do more!)

There's so much to do and see here and we've had some really good food so far! We checked off so many things on our list with my family which was awesome. It's been very fun to explore this part of the country and we feel blessed to be here at this time in our lives.
