Well, Match Day came and went and did not go anything like we thought it would. I look back at my second to last blog post and just have to laugh a bit because it's like God and my subconscious knew that I would need my own words to get me through the news we received.
Surprise! We are moving to Boston in June! Parker will be starting his residency at Brigham and Women's this summer and honestly, we are still a bit shocked by this outcome, along with a whole lot of other emotions - nervous, excited, still a bit confused, but I'm mostly so proud of Parker and all of his hard work.
This move will be quite an adjustment for both of us. Parker will be receiving amazing training but will be super busy at this program, we'll be living in the city for the first time and on the east coast, and I'll have to find a new job. While the Match didn't go as we had expected, we both know that God has a very specific plan for us and that Boston is a part of that plan.
We'll be leaving Ohio in a few weeks to do some major traveling before we head to Massachusetts and we are SO excited for some down time to spend time with family and friends, and to see some new (and familiar) parts of the world!
We'll be going to:
+Utah for our newest nephew's baby blessing
+Las Vegas for spring break
+Southern Utah national parks hiking tour
+ Cruising from Fort Lauderdale to Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire, Antigua, St. Thomas, and ending in NYC
+Back to Ohio for medical school graduation
+Costa Rica with some friends from college
+Bald Head Island, NC
+Move to Boston!
It's about to be a crazy and fun few months and we are ready for it! BRING ON THE SUNSHINE!
xoxo, Chelan

So excited for you two! I used to live in Potsmouth, NH, which is about 45 minutes north of Boston & makes for an amazing weekend trip. You have GOT to check it out once you're there!
